Rajan Kumar, the young talented cricketer was born on 8 July 1996 in Haridwar, Uttarakhand. The left-arm medium-fast bowler represents his hometown, Uttarakhand in domestic cricket matches and he is considered to be one of the best players in this team. He has already built a reputation for himself in the domestic leagues.

Rajan made his T20 debut on 11 October 2022, against the Railways team in Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. In his four overs spell, he dismissed 2 batters and helped his team win the match by 7 wickets. Just a few weeks later, he made his debut in List A cricket on 12 November 2022, against the Odisha team in Vijay Hazare Trophy. In this match, he bowled 8 overs and 2 balls and took 3 wickets, his team was victorious once again. 

He played his first match in Ranji Trophy this year on 5 January against the Madhya Pradesh. The match ended with no result. He is new to the cricket world, we have seen him playing for the Uttarakhand team in these domestic leagues and so far he has been performing impressively. 

Seeing his performance in the domestic tournaments, Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) picked Rajan Kumar in the 2023 IPL Auction. It’s a great opportunity for him to showcase his talent at a bigger stage. RCB will play their first match on 22 March against the Chennai Super Kings. It will be interesting to see if Rajan will make his IPL debut this year.
