The allrounder Will Jacks is a right-handed batter and right-arm spin bowler. He made his List A debut on 18 May 2018 and before that, he was in the England squad for the Under-19 Cricket World Cup. In July 2021, when England’s One Day International (ODI) squad was supposed to play the series against Pakistan, they were found covid-positive. Thus a new squad was prepared which included the young allrounder Jacks but he had some time before he could make his debut.
He played his first T20I match on 23 September 2022 against Pakistan, the same team against whom he made his debut in Test a few months later in December. He made his ODI debut last year against Bangladesh, on 1 March 2023.

In the first two seasons of the South African domestic league, SA20 he played for the Pretoria Capitals. He contributed both with bat and ball throughout the series. The team did well last year and became a finalist, but this year they couldn’t make it to the the playoffs.
The most recent time we saw him performing great on the pitch was on 30 January 2024 when the Pretoria Capitals faced Durban Super Giants. In that match, he scored 42 runs while also taking 1 wicket in his bowling spell. He played his last match in SA20 against MI Cape Town on 3 February 2024, the team won the match but the Jacks couldn’t contribute much in that game.
