Summary
Akash Deep was born on 15 December 1996, in Sasaram, Bihar. He was a cricket lover from his childhood. He faced many challenges in his life, including limited opportunities and family problems. He said during one of his interactions with the media that his family didn’t want him to play cricket but his determination toward his dream never hindered. Later he moved to Kolkata, where his cricketing skills blossomed and he made his debut for the Bengal team in 2019.
He made his T20 debut for Bengal on 9 March 2019 against the Maharashtra team in the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. He took 2 wickets in his bowling spell, while also contributing with bat and scored 13 runs. But his team couldn’t win the match. A few months later in September, he played his first List A match in the Vijay Hazare Trophy against the Gujarat team.
