History of Cricket Ground in Eisenhower Park
A few years ago the International Cricket Council (ICC) announced that the T20 World Cup 2024 will be co-hosted by the West Indies and USA. Last year, the ICC shortlisted four locations in the USA including the Eisenhower Park in New York City.
As we know it’s not a regular cricket ground but a temporary one. Its construction was started recently in January this year. Arena Event Services is responsible for its construction while the LandTek Group is monitoring it.
The Nassau County International Cricket Stadium is expected to be completed in May 2024. Before the international matches, the stadium will host warm-up games. After the tournament, the temporary infrastructure will be removed, however, the cricket ground will be left intact.
