History of Arnos Vale Stadium

Arnos Vale Stadium is a multi-use stadium but it mostly hosts cricket and football matches. The stadium hosted its first-ever international cricket match on 4 February 1981 which was an ODI between West Indies and England in which the hosting team won by 2 runs.

The stadium was renovated ahead of the 2007 Cricket World Cup that was hosted solely by the West Indies.hs. Media center, operations center, and pavilion were constructed on the eastern side of the ground and the playing area was enlarged as part of the renovation.
