DC Squad for IPL 2024: The 2024 auction brought forth several surprises, notably the acquisition of Jharkhand’s emerging batsman, Kumar Kushagra, by the Capitals for a substantial sum of Rs 7.20 crore. CSK initiated the bidding for Kushagra, who had a base price of 20 lakh, but the Capitals ultimately secured his services for Rs 7.2 crore.
Besides Kushagra, the Delhi Capitals (DC) made smart decisions by including Australia’s fast bowler Jhye Richardson in their team for Rs 5 crore. Additionally, they signed England’s batter Harry Brook for Rs 4 crore.
