IPL 2024
Currently, Nishant is just 19 years old but has been performing impressively for the Haryana team in domestic leagues like the Vijay Hazare Trophy and Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy. Apart from these leagues, he has also represented the under-19s team of India on the international stage. Impressed with his performance, the selectors of Chennai Super Kings picked him in the IPL 2024 auction.
The most recent time we saw him in action on the field was on 16-19 February in the Vidarbha vs Haryana match in the Ranji Trophy. Playing for the Haryana team, he scored 133 runs in two innings (131 and 2) and took a total of 5 wickets. He impressed the fans with his century. However, in the end, his team lost the game by 155 runs.
